Before The Great Change, there were plenty of Shapeshifters already around. The thing is, even with all the fantastic races in the galaxy, they still remained a myth to most folks. The reason for this is simple, they were very good at hiding themselves among the populace at large. The great change put an end to that, and many of them were driven from their homes, and in some cases, their loved ones. Most have managed to find new homes among the Elemental League and CTS planets, but their driving away is still fresh enough in their collective memories to be sore.

Shapeshift: Shapeshifters all have the ability to transform their body in one or more ways. Though there are notable exceptions, usually a starting shapeshifter can transform for one minute a day, into a single slightly stronger form. As they grow stronger, a shapeshifter can take additional forms, spend longer in a shifted form, or their other forms become stronger. Even if the shapeshifter does not spend all of one minute in a form, the time counted is rounded up to the next minute.
