While the GAN's invasion and multi-millenia prank spree set a bad example for Devilings all over the galaxy, the AP's very real and very deadly retaliatory attacks turned their military into a very real fighting force that had to fight for their lives. Because of this, newer generations of Devilings are often born on planets under siege by the Angelic Protectorate. These Devilings are the most likely candidates for studenthood at MSF High, but not all Devilings are card-carrying GAN members, either. Devilings include any race, evil or not, that is most well-known as an evil force in a mainstream religion. This means that a lot of the Devilings are hated by most, whether they deserve it or not. This can hold true for new students at MSF High, too, until they learn that they're people all the same.
Powers
Teleport: The primary ability of most Devilings is the power of teleportation. With it, they can move to where the action is in the blink of an eye. Anyone touching them also teleports with them, whether the Deviling wants them to or not, and they can only teleport to someplace they have been before. This is why many of them act as scouts. They start off with the ability to use this power once per day, but as they gain strength they can use it more often.
Contract: After a few days around one, most folks learn not to make a deal with a Deviling unless they're sure that they can fulfil it. Both parties involved, meaning the Deviling and the dupe who agreed to it, have a hard time breaking the deal. Combat practicality of this spell is limited, though, as it seems it just doesn't work if the Deviling tries to make a deal to keep someone fighting.
