Castaways Treaty Systems (CTS)

The CTS is also a relatively new faction, formed by disgruntled races forced into a military life by the GA during the battle with Legion. Ironically, the CTS is probably Legion's best Ally, and many Legion ships are integrated within CTS fleets. The CTS takes in all kinds of races, but consists primarily of Redeemed, Demi-humans, Shapeshifters, and Devilings. They are trying their best to develop a unique culture, and are leading exporters of specialty foods, equipment, and forms of entertainment. They also make a note to attend every Galactic Council meeting and represent their planets as fairly as possible.

The CTS's fleet appears to be a mish-mash of ships of wildly varying ages and origins, but they have a well-developed command structure that is free from discrimination, and their adaptability and unpredictable battle groups make them a fearsome force in battle. A CTS carrier may break apart into dozens of smaller ships and re-combine as necessary, it may have a huge cannon or thousands of smaller guns, or it may devour smaller ships, turning them and their crews into new soldier loyal to the CTS. Piracy is not a huge problem in this area.

Most living on CTS worlds, however, are civillians. These types are accustommed to seeing other races, and are generally free from the prejudices that come with a more narrow-minded single-race culture.
