The GA's battles with Legion, and the decisions made concerning their surrender weakened the command positions of the GA, and fights for succession risk tearing the union to shreds. Siding with their own choice in political rulers, fleet commanders make the fights into real battles, seeing no remorse in throwing their conscripted soldiers against each other. One division of Dark Elf troops mutiny against their commanders, then take over their carrier and use it to take in as many conscript soldiers as they can. The movement ripples outward through the galaxy, and the GA loses most of its troops and a large portion of its battle fleets. The rebelled races take over the pristene terraformed planets that Legion left behind, and declare themselves Redeemed from the horrors and injustice of war in 15250.
