The BioGalactica Corporation begins its Galaxy Seed Initiative, a massive-scale terraforming project set to make liveable hundreds of inhabitable worlds by using biologically-grown terraformers to quickly change the environment, using natural resources to reproduce until they can change the planet in the span of a dozen years. Unfortunately, a clerical error sent one of the "pod" ships to a world inhabited by humans. The terraformers decide that the Humans are the biggest source of pollution and consume them for natural resources, transforming the victims into beautiful half-plant, half-woman terraformers that took to calling themselves "Legion." Using their newfound grasp of science and their original pod ship, they set out to "correct" the rest of the galaxy, and began a massive military campaign that transformed all they conquered into hive-minded women absoultely loyal to the cause. Human forces, overwhelemed, take to conscripting other races for the fight. For reasons unknown, Legion stops its advances in 17380, surrendering dozens of pristene worlds to the GA and vowing to never launch any strikes again.
