Visual Description:
Anita look much like a normal human girl. She's a pretty, delicate girl. Slender and graceful, with long, flowing hair. Often seen wearing a simple blouse and long skirt. Only, she'd never pass for human. Her entire body is transparent; Skin, Hair, even her clothes. Her entire form is slight blue tinged, except her green eyes. With her clear, malleable, form, she gives the impression of existing solely of water.

Personality:
A shy, but often pleasant girl, Anita has yet to adapt to social situations. She never quite felt that she fit in. Being turned into a monster never helped that. She's always been more comfortable surrounded by books than people. And yet, she craves human contact. She's just afraid of it.

Background:
Melissa Carter was born a normal, boring, human girl. She did her chores, went to school, always did her work on time. She was the quiet girl in the baggy shirt, who was never noticed. Or sometimes worse. Ignored.

She went through school without leaving a mark. She studied, but made sure to hold back enough that she wasn't too good. She had a crush, but never could admit it. She avoided the clubs, and public functions. She graduated, without much of the class knowing who she was. She got a job at the bookstore, no one gave her a second glance.

And then one day, her life changed drastically. She was at the lake, watching the meteor shower, like she did every year. Except this year, on the last day of the meteor showers, she had an encounter with a dying Aquamorph, that barely made it to her planet. It's last act was to drag Anita into the lake, where she should have drowned, but instead emerged as something else.

No longer the human girl she once was, she feared revealing herself to her family. So she hid in the lake, even while search parties came looking for her. She couldn't face them. The watery girl cried in her solitude, as she felt her strength slipping day by day. And then one day, she went to sleep, and... woke up in a bed, in a strange room. A strange school, where her new form wouldn't be taken as monstrous. Adopting a new name as she cut her ties with her past, she prepared to start a new life where she might do things right this time.
