(Alt) Cadfael Cain

...Okay, this is hopefully going to be my first Alt! I already E-Mailed the all powerfull Mitch about creating an acount for Cadfael, so as soon as that's all set up, then I'll post it here so everybody knows who I am. ^^

The main thing that I'm worried about is the length of the Bio... I checked, like, three times for spelling and grammer errors, so those should be minimal, and I've already gotten approval for all of the RP expenditures. If you want proof that I have the RP, check my Calypso Nymph Character Sheet. It has a counter at the bottom of the first post.


It's too bad that, in real life, there are no second chances.

Equipment:
Sword of Heart (1-25 Slashy Melee damage, +2 Att)
A giant sword that resides in Cadfael's heart. Literally. When seethed, there's the hilt of the sword coming out where his heart is. When removed, it looks like a sword made of pure silver. The hilt is a simple cross with a pommel, and if one looks at the blade close enough, it shimmers a bit, and looks slightly ethereal and see through, almost like it's flickering in and out of existence.


Advantages/Disadvantages:
Super Strong, Nerves of Steel, No Libido all linked with Curious.
Cadfael is a giant suit of metal armor. It's hard to scare a giant suit of metal armor, it's hard for a giant suit of metal armor to not be strong, and it's hard to romance a freaking giant suit of metal armor. Being a giant suit of metal armor also makes Cadfael a bit... headstrong. He's more confident in himself then normal that as he satisfies his curiosity, he won't get hurt. He's usually right.

No Magical Abilities (Racial)

Obsession: Being the Greatest Warrior Hero (Racial)

Heroic
This is related to his Obsession. Cadfaeld wants to be a Hero to the extent that it interferes with his better judgment. ...Not that he'd listen to it now anyway, but you get the point.

Damage Magnet
Come on, Cadfael's a giant metal suit of armor! He's very noticeable, and thus more likely to be hit then other students. It doesn't help that he sometimes puts himself in the way of whatever thing is going to hit others, because he can usually take it better.


Abilities:
Resilient Body (Entropy) 0
Innate 1-10 DR, with a option to turn it into elemental absorption for the chosen element once per day per level, with an additional +2 to defense.
Cadfael is made of metal; literally. This helps him to not be hurt.
Energy Blast (Earth) 1/1
1-20 Splash damage of the chosen element, once per day per level. Can be aimed at any target within battle range, and effects the target and anybody within melee range of the target. Is NOT effected by size differences.
In this case, Energy Blast is used by Cadfael focusing on his body, causing a giant metal 'paint ball' to appear in his hand, which he can then throw.
Blood of the Monsters 0
Passive regeneration increases by 1 point per hour per level. In addition, once per day, when HP is reduced to 0 or less, or any round in which HP is 0 or less, this ability may be used to heal 20*level of ability HP points after one minute (six rounds).
Cadfael's blood is a super clotting metal that absorbs power from heat. When excess heat is obtained, it is 'stored' away, which he can use to temporary force his body to heal and clot at a faster rate.
Terrifying Roar 0
Once per day per level this ability may be used to emit a terrifying, monstrous roar. It's a special Intimidation attempt that gives a +2 to the attempt, and effects everyone in battle range.
Cadfael's voice box is, again, made of metal. When Cadfael lets himself go, really lets himself loose control, his voice box grinds against itself, resulting in a roar that has the same effect of fingernails screeching down a chalk board. It's an unnatural, animalistic sound that is terrifying to hear, especially when it comes from a living being.


Personality:
Cadfael used to be one of the most brilliant scientific minds in the known universe. And female. But now... he's tired of it. He'd much rather hit something then think around it, and he's tired of softening his words for others; he feels like he wasted millenia doing nothing, and he's out to change that, not caring if others get hurt on occasion. So he tends to come off has a bit brash, and rude. Add that to his confidence in his strength, he can sound a bit arrogant.

In addition, he's a bit disinterested in arts that do not involve hurting things directly, like science, and magic. With his brash nature it can easily sound like he doesn't appreciate these arts, but it's really just that he has no interest in learning them.

Overall, he's blunt, and, while not exactly unintelligent, he just doesn't like to think things through. He'd much rather try hitting his way through a door then picking the lock, because at least then he feels like he's doing something.


Appearance:
A five story tall suit of armor. Literally. To be exact, Cadfael appears to be a five story tall suit of perfect silver plate armor. His feet, legs, body, head, arms and hands all appear to be covered by perfectly smooth, flawless silver armor.

Because it looks like Cadfael is armored, it's incredibly easy to think that he is actually a person wearing armor. This is not true. Cadfael is actually a being who is based off of the element 'lead' as apposed to the standard 'carbon', and is literally made of metal. Everything from his brain to his blood is metal, and his 'armor' is actually his skin. The reason why it looks like plate armor is primarily the joints, which allow him to move like a normal humanoid.

One thing of interest is his head. Or, to be more exact according his appearance, his 'helmet'. It looks a lot like a medieval helmet, and if one looks close enough, they can just make out the opals that are Cadfael's eyes. They are farther back to protect them, but the pure black gems can easily see out as if they were in a more standard position.


Bio:
The following text is an entry on a popular blog on leaked information. Government secretes, toy designs, inventions made in secrete... anything that the public is not supposed to know, but does anyway, is on this blog.


The follow data entry was found in a pod, floating out in the depths of space. The pod had the Galactic Anarchists symbol on it, and inside was a single chip, holding in it the blueprints for innumerable inventions, and how they can all be used for GAN's standard array of vicious pranks. Most of the inventions were already invented, or were subtle deviations on things already made... but some went in directions many didn't think possible, and would have taken years of dedicated research to achieve. These blueprints are said to be the basis for the GA's current line of space fairing weaponry, but because the records are sealed, it's impossible to say for sure. The only piece of data that was on that chip that was leaked to the general public is a message that was apparently meant for whoever discovered the pod.

This the letter of resignation from GAN prank inventor Lilim. Species Succubus, PIN 02516931.

I have spent countless years down here, in the bowels of this planet, working on future pranks for the Galactic Anarchists, ever since the year BC 15049. I was recruited from a young age for intelligent nature to help the GAN create their pranks. I was taught the ways of science, and of their unique sense of 'humor'. Despite my initial hesitancy in helping them with their 'mission', I still quickly rose through the ranks as one of their best 'Prank Engineers'. I, along with three others, were placed in a think tank underneath a nearly uninhabitable planet. We had food synthesizers, computers, and all the materials we need. Every time we came up with a new 'prank', we would send the encrypted blueprints to the GAN for use. With all the time I spent down there, working on pranks, I soon bought into GAN's message.

I am unaware of how much time passed there, but as I look back, I remember that eventually we started to get old. Frail. Slow. Soon, one of us died. Then the second. Eventually, I was the only one left, an old crone, typing away at a computer. But I feared death, so searched for a way around it. A way to evade my demise. I quickly found it – a transformation ray, to turn me into an Elemental. The planet I was on, naturally, couldn't support a second Elemental of any kind for very long, so I had to quickly turn back... and when I did, I was ten years younger. Because Elementals don't age, they exist as a more comfortable age then 'old'. I quickly perfected the process, and soon, with just a shot of the beam, I could return to perfect health and youth in an instant.

For some reason, I kept my new technology a secrete. Not entirely sure why... I even went so far as to convince the GAN to not send any more scientists down to me, claiming that they'd only 'slow me down' so I wouldn't have to reveal my device to others.

So I worked alone, down there in that bunker, for I am unaware how long. I got better and better at my trade, and drowned myself in my work. However, I eventually felt the pangs of loneliness. I had long since cleaned out the corpses of my coworkers, so it was just me in a place for four. So, one day, I asked the GAN to send me something to read. They sent me books. Old books. Books from before the first Biowarp engine. Probably there idea of a prank... but I loved them. Stories of Hero's, who roamed the planet seeking out evil doers and ending their reign of tyranny.

I devoured them as I worked, and always asked for more. My days went on and on as I worked and read, every now and then using my beam to return to my perfect health.

Eventually... I am unaware of the exact date... I stopped getting messages back from the GAN. Soon after, any and all sending capabilities of mine were cut off. A meteorite probably hit the satellite that I used to communicate from under the planet... but regardless, I was cut off from any contact from the outside world.

At first, I panicked. Then I delved my way into my work, endlessly, to distract myself. I saved it all on my computer, ready to send when the GAN contacted me. I worked until I was out of ideas, then I reread the books that were saved on my computer, of hero's and villains. And then, I invented some more.

I'm not sure when it happened, really... but, eventually, as I read my books and worked on my inventions, I began to realize something. I was trapped. Even if I somehow left my little bunker by myself... made a Biowarp engine, learned to work it, and flew right out of there... I was still trapped. I couldn't do anything. I made things... it was up to others to actually use them. In that respect, I was useless. Sure, I could make a better gun, but I couldn't shot the bad guy. Not like the Hero's in my books.

I began to slow down on my inventions, and focused on my reading and rereading. I soon came upon a second realization. The GAN were the bad guys. Not just 'mischief makers' as they lead us to believe, working only to keep the galaxy on it's toes and prevent entropy from settling in, but actually the bad guys.

I was shocked. I had worked for the GAN for countless life times... I couldn't even recall the world outside my little think tank. And they were the bad guys. I stopped working on my inventions, horrified at what my work might have helped them accomplish. For some time afterward, I just... existed. I'm not really sure how long, really. I slept, got up, ate, then went back to sleep. Sometimes I showered, and occasionally I 'fixed' my age, terrified of death.

Then... my planet began to shake. Violently. An earthquake happened, one which I easily survived... by many of my machines did not. The most noticeable one would be the food processor, which went out about an hour ago. I do not have the tools to fix it. I have long since run out of the materials to make the tools to fix it. I do not even know how to fix it; I never bothered to learn.

I don't know how to freeze myself, of keep myself suspended as I float in space. I don't know how to drive a ship. I'm trapped here, and I will die. I will try a desperate attempt at freezing my body, hoping that somebody will find me... but more likely then not my process will not be perfect, and I will die here. Cold, and alone.

There is one good thing that came out of this, however... I was able to get up and do something. My last something. I send out this pod, to float in space for an unknown amount of time, to hopefully help stop the Galactic Anarchists. I pray that this pod reaches the Galactic Alliance first. My one regret is that I didn't manage to do something like this sooner.

If I were to have a second chance... a way to do this all over again... I would change everything. I wouldn't just passively do the work for others to use. I would be out there, living, changing things as I go along. I would learn to wield a sword, or a gun, or, heck, even a frying pan. I would do great things, defeat dangerous creatures, and take every hit thrown at me... just to prove I could.

In the countless years that I have lived, this is the greatest desire I have. To live again, and this time, to actually live. It's too bad that, in real life, there are no second chances.


Unfortunately, with only the data contained in this message, it is impossible to learn the exactly who this mysterious scientist is. The GAN have long since had the data of their pirating days wiped due to a prank from their own members, and at the time of GAN's rising, 'Lilim' was a very popular name for Succubi. It's a sad thing that this Succubus spent countless years, hidden away, working for an organization that had long since been defeated, and that her work couldn't help stop the Galactic Anarchists.



...So, that's 8RP. 1 for boost to attack from the sword, 2 for the advantages, and 5 for the Kaiju race. What do people think?

How do you think I got the 'Victor of the People''s name? Nika is, believe it or not, an actual Russian name. Its the form of several full names, but Nika itself just seemed so... Soviet Russian.

Online Baby name sights have helped me name a lot of characters. ;)

Okay, thanks to a kindly poke from Uratino, I realized that there were some minor mistakes with Cadfael. They are now fixed, and shouldn't pop up as a problem again.

It was mostly that, while a Kaiju gets 4 abilities, they get only 1 point to put in any of those 4. It's all good now, though.
