Currently, I would like Roland and Rina to be ignored (not that they aren't already). It's been a long time since they've been active, so it shouldn't matter much. I don't intend to control them, but perhaps sometime in the future I can work towards including them again.
Name: Mia Fulinski
Race: Deviling
Year: First
ID #: 801
Size: Medium
Gender: Female
Height: 4' 4"
Weight: 74 lb.
Eye Colour: Dark purple
Hair Colour/Length: Black/Long
Planet of Origin: Altearth
Age: 14
Personality: She doesn't speak, but communicates through writing and signs. She's typically shy towards people she doesn't know, and tends to not face them, or attempts to hide from them.
She is attracted to friendly people, however, and may inadvertently attach herself to people she likes, following them around constantly. She is often entranced by cute and pretty things, and ends
up losing track of things that are going on around her. Odd habits abound as well, as Mia may sometimes simply stop moving and flop over somewhere should she feel like taking a nap.
She does, however, have a tendency to brood and get a little bit gloomy, but this is often easily cured by the actions of her doll, which she takes (or rather, it follows her) everywhere.
Appearance: Mia seems childlike, but at times she can hold herself in an air of maturity (which is extraordinarily difficult when she starts holding up her signs to communicate).
Her hair is straight, and extends down a little past her waist. She wears a sleeveless black dress, and...uh...
Okay, I suck at describing clothing accurately. She dresses like a gothic lolita, alright? Just let your imagination take you along. She has a small pair of black wings on her back, roughly a little more half a meter from the tip of one to the tip to of the other, and a smaller pair on her head, poking out from her hair. These are about two inches long each, and tend to flap depending on Mia's mood.
Eventual Weapon: A puppet that she affectionately labels as "Lord Knightzorius ver. 2!" It's a knight that wields a machete.
Bio: Mia was a member of a world famous travelling circus, her parents being the Ringmaster and a tightrope walker. Being born into the 'circus family', it quickly became apparent from a young age that she had a fondness for puppets and dolls, always being easily entertained by clever little shows her parents and other members of the circus would put on for her with sockpuppets. On her 8th birthday, she had been given a stuffed bunny with button eyes, and has ever since carried it everywhere with her. However, she remained a very shy girl, and worried her parents as to how she would function in the circus itself. Luckily, Mia presented a natural knack with her most favourite subject: puppets. With strings, she was able to control them to perform amazing feats, everything ranging from expert knife throwing to the fantastic acrobatics of the trapeze. The entire circus pitched in to carve her several puppets that were almost indistinguishable from normal humans, and incorporated her act into the circus' repertoire with her controlling her puppets from the rafters above.
Adept as she was, Mia never spoke, and found that it was much easier to communicate with actions and writing. Unfortunately, even with her skill, Mia wasn't free from mistakes. During a particularly energetic show, she sneezed while controlling two puppets that were performing a balanced tightrope walk while one was balanced on the other's shoulders. The tremor from her sneeze caused her to slip up, and the puppets plummeted to the ground amidst gasps from the audience. They hung lifelessly, several centimetres from the ground, while the crowd looked on, horrified and confused. Then, a voice from the audience yelled: "They tricked us! Those are just puppets! There's no danger at all!" The crowd quickly began to grow angry, and soon a riotous mob was formed. They surged from their seats, rushing across the stage towards the shocked circus members. In the stampede, the oil lamps spread throughout the big top were knocked over, and quickly flames began to spread. Anger gave way to terror, and the crowd fled from the tent just as quickly as they had rose to anger. Mia was paralyzed in fear up in the rafters, until a pair of strong arms grabbed her and hoisted her over a shoulder. Several of the trapeze artists had climbed up, and Marco, the best of them and the one she considered her big brother, was carrying her to the ground. "We have to hurry!" they shouted. On the ground, she was put on her feet and urged to run. They managed to escape out of the tent, and Mia turned to see her home and all she ever knew being devoured by the ferocious flames. She felt the urge to clutch her stuffed bunny tightly, when a chilling realization brought her to tears. She had left him in the rafters. Both her parents and Marco realized that her crying was caused by something other than the big top burning, and managed to decipher from her sobs what had happened. Mia desperately wanted to run back to get her precious gift, but her parents refused to let her. It only took a second of looking at her crying face to cause Marco to run back into the burning tent. "I'll get it, so wait out here!" Horrified gasps echoed from the rest of the circus members, and Mia managed to tear herself away from her parents to run after him. By the time she reached the tent, Marco had already almost reached the rafters. She saw him lift his arm, and clutched firmly in his hand was her bunny, Sebastian.
And then it happened. The fire had already eaten through the wooden supports of the tent, and a loud crack was heard. The central pole Marco was holding onto began to fall apart as the many planks that made up the rafters began to crash down. Even though he was so high, it only took a second for Marco to plummet to the ground. To Mia, however, it took much longer than that. The tears gushed forward as she watched him vanish into a mess of wood and fire, and something fell from above at her feet. It was Sebastian; it was the only reason Marco had rushed back into the tent. Mia couldn't say anything, or hear anything. Not the crashing of the big top around her, nor her parents' voices as they called desperately for her. It was her fault. All of it was her fault. She caused the riot, she caused the fire, and she caused Marco, her beloved brother, to fall to his demise. She fell to the ground, and for the first time, the loud shrieking cry of her voice was heard before the final supports of the big top collapsed, bringing down the entire thing upon her sobbing body.
Other: Mia has a stuffed bunny that for some reason has become animated upon her entrance into MSF High. She calls it Sebastian, and although it doesn't really do much but follow her around, it tends to pose alot. Dramatic and heroic, mainly. It often stands on top of her head, which she doesn't mind because he's soft and doesn't really weigh much.
