Alright, for the rest of this week, I'll be away until pretty late at night (getting back probably at about 11-11:30 pm Eastern) and likely be up for only an hour or two. The majority of my posting for Kit and Rhea will be in the morning to early afternoons before I leave for work. This will likely continue next week due to zaney scheduling stuff.

This excludes the weekends where I'd have access to a computer at work.

Home compter is in the process of imploding. I've narrowed down what I think the problem to be to a few components (another bad memory stick, graphics card, perhaps power supply or a slight chance of damage on the cpu). It'll be a few days before I've had a chance to thuroughly go through my home machine, and maybe until my next check to fix it if the kink doesn't fix itself somehow (wouldn't be surprised as I think it has done this before, but never for 2 days straight).

As a result, I can only get online at work really, and chances are I'm going to be really busy looking at what I've done today and how busy everyone else has been at the job, so I'll be spotty at best. Chances are just AIM.

Welp, my computer's been confiscated because my parents think it's the source of all my troubles.

You can tell I'm bitter, eh?

Earliest I'll have it back is Thursday. I can only sneak on in the morning or possibly not at all..

Alright! An update on my situation. My computer is totally screwed. I knew that last weekend. The update is, I now have money to pay for the parts I need (at the cost of some of the money I had for rent to set aside for the end of the month). Looks like my motherboard actually burned out the leads where it plugs in from the power supply. Fun stuff. Probably why I noticed before it went into a restart fit that the fans seemed a bit more quiet. Also explains why my roomie thought I was letting people smoke in my room when he was out or something (he said he noticed a smell of smoke/burning, but I never did - olefactory sense of a brick wall I do have).

Soooooo, I finally managed to order the parts. Today! They won't be in for 5-7 days though. Then I get to find free time to put it together. *hopes my other job doesn't want me to work on next Friday*

Oh, and that's right. Parts. My comupter is aging, about 5 years now, and no one sells a Socket 7 motherboard or processor anymore (at least the places I checked that I'm willing to throw my credit card at), thus I had to get a new motherboard, new processor (ugh, not enough money for a good 3rd party heatsink/fan so I'll have to use the stock heatsink/fan for a month or so...), a new video card (AGP is gone, in with PCI-Express *watches money fly out the window*) and of course new memory since the motherboards today seem to primarily support DDR2 as opposed to the lowly PC-2100 (DDR) I was using before. Fortunately I price-shopped like a maniac and bought cheap crap that will do what I want it to for anywhere between 6 months to a year before I get a chance to really throw some dough at it. So *waves goodbye to $200*

Now if my PSU was also being flakey.. well.. I'll need to throw another $50 ontop of that, but I won't know until next week. Get ready for a surprise!

And yes, I'm an alternate for Exalted-Kitty if you didn't know and were wondering where I went.

Wow, Exalted-Kitty has been away for over a onth, that's some bad computer problems.

On a related note, I'll be gone for the weekend, along with my Alts, Ormagon(Cornelius in the RP) and Aven. I'll be leavin early friday, dunno when I'll be back.
